Healthy Eating - 8 Minute Seaweed Chips
These quick to make seaweed chips are a wonderfully healthy nutrient rich alternative for snacking or are great to add a bit of pizazz to a meal. They really do taste surprisingly good!
8 Minute Seaweed Chips
1 pack of Nori/sushi seaweed sheets
1/4 cup of olive oil or sesame oil
1 tbsp of Moroccan
1 tsp of Himalayan salt
1 tsp of sumac herb powder
1 tsp of smoked paprika
Toast Nori sheets (in toaster) counting out loud to 5-leave in for no more than 10 seconds - the amount of time needed to toast the seaweed can become less as the toaster heats up, if it starts to bubble or go yellow you’re leaving it too long. Once toasted use your kitchen scissors or bare hands to chop up into strips or little squares.
Place all your pieces made from you 10 sheets of Nori paper into a large bowl, drizzle your oil and herb mixture onto the seaweed squares and toss until all pieces are coated.
Keep in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks (although they probably won’t last that long, they are just too scrumptious).
