Why is this product being recalled

Nature’s Sunshine Products of Australia Pty Ltd is recalling batch 2212 of Nature’s Sunshine Andrographis. The product contains the herb, which is associated with serious allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis.

Reactions can occur the first time the product is taken or after previous use without any problems.

 

What you should do

STOP USING THE AFFECTED PRODUCT

Check the batch number and expiry date on your bottle. If it is batch 2212, expiring October 2028, stop using it.

Contact the place of purchase or Nature’s Sunshine on 1800 687 577 to arrange a return and refund.

If you are concerned about having taken this product, speak with a healthcare professional.

 

If anaphylaxis is suspected call 000 immediately

Anaphylaxis is a medical emergency and requires immediate treatment. Symptoms can include difficulty breathing, swelling of the tongue or throat, wheezing, dizziness or collapse. Delayed treatment can be life-threatening.
