Slippery Elm

Nature’s Sunshine uses the inner bark of Slippery Elm — the premium, traditionally used medicinal part of the tree.

Unlike products that simply list “bark” or “stem bark,” inner bark specifically identifies the part naturally rich in mucilage, the characteristic soothing constituent that gives Slippery Elm its unique texture and traditional properties.

The inner bark has a long history of use in Western herbal medicine to soothe irritated tissues and support digestive health.
